	Recreation Division

	The Recreation Division provides recreational opportunities for youth, teens and seniors through a variety of programs including day camp, cultural arts, and trips. The Division handles the Art Gallery, City Parks, Facility Rentals, Maple Hall, Museums, ParaTransit, Senior Services and Youth Activities. Our mission is to create community through people, parks and programs. Dance Classes

Dance Club
Grades 1-8
Join us for some hip hop, jazz and more! You decide the moves and we'll help you put together the routine. Plan to work hard because some of the dancces this group creates will be performed at upcoming summer events.

Dates: Tuesdays (January 19th and on-going)
Time: 5:30pm-6:30pm
Cost: $10 every 4-weeks
Location: Maple Hall

Latin & Ballroom Dancing:
Learn the Cha Cha, Rumba, Tango, Swing, and more in a 10 week beginner or intermediate course. Classes are taught by dance instructors Debbie & Ed Baxter.Space is limited! Sign up at the Recreation Office, City Hall, Bldg 5.

When: Dec 1 - Feb 18

Time: 7:00pm to 8:30pm
Cost per 10 week session: $50/person or $90/couple

Adult Pick-up Basketball:

This program is open on Wednesday and Thursday Evenings:

at Walter T. Helms Middle school gym. This is a free event for San Pablo Residents!

There will be no basketball during the month of August due to the school being closed.

When: Wednesday and Thursday Evenings from 7:00-9:30pm

Who: Residents of San Pablo ages 18 and older

Youth Basketball
Ages 9 to 12
Join us for some fun on the court! Our experienced coaches will help you improve your skills and maybe even teach you some new ones. This league is associated with the Jr. NBA program. Practices and games to be announced.

Dates: Registration deadline January 8th
Parent Meeting January 11th at 6:00pm at Davis Park (Folsom Ave and 17th)
Cost: $30
Instrctors: Coach AJ and staff

Both the San Pablo United Youth Soccer Club and the San Pablo Baseball Association offer competitive leagues for the youth of San Pablo. The Recreation Division assists both of these programs by offering field space in our parks. For information about baseball or soccer please follow the links below.
