Volunteers work one Sunday per month from 12 noon to 4:00 p.m. giving tours of the museums: the Alvarado Adobe and the Blume House. This is a fun job for people who like to meet the public. Most of the visitors to our museums are families, so there is a wide variety of ages. You do not have to be a historian to be a docent ~ we will teach you how to give tours and how to answer the most frequently asked questions.
