Services to job seekers include Internet access to job search sites, computers, fax machines, job listings—plus job search-related workshops and a helpful, knowledgeable staff.

Services to employers include job postings, applicant referrals, business resources, hiring and tax incentives, and interview rooms.

A partnership of public, nonprofit and private organizations, East Bay Works provides services to employers, job seekers and workers at 15 career centers throughout Alameda and Contra Costa counties. Partners include Contra Costa County Workforce Investment Board, Employment & Human Services Department, Employment Development Department (EDD), Rubicon Programs, West Contra Costa Adult School, Contra Costa College and Worldwide Education Services, Inc.

The Space. A well lighted, fullyequipped 9,000 square fot space.

Resources. Books for all ages—plus materials in Spanish, English, Vietnamese, Laotian, Chinese, Tagalog available on site or by computer order from other Contra Costa County Library branches (which includes more than a million books).

Presentations. Baby/Toddler Story Time is held every Monday afternoon and Family Story Time is held every Saturday morning. ESL Conversation Class is held every Tuesday evening. Special programs after school, during evenings, and in the summer are supported by community donations and Friends of the San Pablo Library.

Video. Feature films, classics, travelogues, how-to videos, and entertainment and educational videos for children and families.

Hours. Monday and Tuesday's 12 - 8 p.m., Wednesdays 10 - 6 p.m., Closed Thursday, Friday and Sunday's 1 - 5 p.m., Saturday 10 - 5 p.m.

Facility. An inviting and 4,000 square foot facility with fun, safe, indoor and outdoor play areas, restrooms, kitchen and administrative office.

Ages & Qualifications. For children 0-5 years; income eligible for the Head Start and state-subsidized programs.
