First Time Home Buyer Program Funds now available!

-
The Redevelopment Agency of the City of San Pablo operates a First-Time Homebuyer Program that provides loans to eligible low and moderate-income households to assist with purchasing a house in the City of San Pablo. On August 3, 2009, the City Council approved changes to the program due to the changing economy and significant decrease in home values in San Pablo. Homebuyers are eligible for up to $75,000 for the purchase of single family home, condominium or townhouse.
Qualified applicants who successfully purchase a home will be required to pay back the loan when the property is sold, transferred, or 30 years after purchase, whichever comes first. A minimum credit score of 620 is required to be considered. Loans are available on a first come, first fund basis. For more information, please call Madelaine Sambajon at (510) 215-3034.
