Organization
The San Pablo Police Department is a full service community-based law enforcement agency, consisting of fifty-two (52) sworn police officers nineteen (19) full-time civilian employees, one (1) reserve officer, and four (4) part-time civilian employees.
The agency's Administration is separated into three major divisions; Patrol, Investigations, and Support Services; and managed by the Chief of Police, one (1) Captain, three (3) Lieutenants, and nine (9) Sergeants.
PATROL
Uniformed patrol teams respond to all calls for service from the public and provide crisis intervention when necessary. Sub-divisions of Patrol include:

INVESTIGATIONS
Provides advanced follow up investigations of all Part I criminal offenses and/or other assigned cases. Sub-divisions of Investigations include:
- Gang Reduction and Intervention Program (GRIP)
- Special Investigations/Casino Liaison

- Youth & Education Services (YES) Unit

Controls distribution and maintenance of all police records and data entry. Sub-divisions of Support Services include:
