November 17 Community Workshop

The City of San Pablo will host the first of two Community Workshops on the Bicycle Pedestrian Master Plan that the City is preparing. The first Workshop will be on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at Maple Hall from 6pm - 8pm. Activities for children and refreshments will be provided.

The purpose of the Workshop is to provide an update on the data that's been collected to date, and to solicit additional comments from the public about preferences for and obstacles to walking and bicycling within the City of San Pablo.

Taller Comunitario programado para el 17 de Noviembre

La Ciudad de San Pablo será el anfitrión del primero de dos Talleres Comunitarios del Plan Maestro Peatonal Ciclista que la Ciudad esta preparando. El primer taller es el Jueves,17 de Noviembre, 2016 en Maple Hall de las 6pm - 8pm. Habrán actividades para niños y refrigerio.

El propósito de este taller es para proveer una actualización de la información que ha sido recolectada hasta el día de ahora, y solicitar comentarios adicionales del público acerca de preferencias y obstáculos para caminar y montar en bicicleta en la Ciudad de San Pablo.

On June 20, 2016, the City Council approved the preparation of a Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan/Feasibility Study (“Plan”). Alta Planning + Design is the Consultant that has been hired to prepare the plan.
The purpose of the Plan is to:

1) Identify existing routes and gaps in routes or sidewalks that are used by bicyclists and pedestrians for travel or recreational activity

2) Compete for funds to invest in or enhance additional infrastructure

How can the Public get involved?

There will be two (2) community workshops (Fall 2016 and early 2017) before the Plan will be brought for consideration to the Planning Commission and City Council in mid 2017.

How can interested community members find out about the Plan?

This webpage will be used to post meeting information, relevant documents, and updates on the Plan. Please check back here for updates to this page and the status of the Plan.
