National Night Out

Start Planning for National Night Out 2017 -
Tuesday, August 1, 2017

National Night Out, “America’s Night Out Against Crime,” began in 1984 and communities in all 50 states participate annually. The purpose of National Night Out is to strengthen neighborhood relationships and the police-community partnership, while sending a message to criminals that the neighborhoods are organized against crime. San Pablo celebrates National Night Out with a variety of neighborhood events which included: barbecues, games, raffles, music and other youth events. City Officials, law enforcement, and the local fire department visit each of the participating neighborhoods to show their support and interact with the community.

How can neighborhoods participate?

San Pablo residents throw block parties, potlucks and cookouts to bring neighbors together. To register your neighborhood, please contact Alma Pelayo (510) 215-3157.
